From June 14 to 15, 16 outstanding students from Tsinghua University and Peking University visited INTCO for an Open Day event themed “Exploring Smart Manufacturing, Discovering INTCO’s Future.” Over the two-day event, INTCO organized a series of immersive tours and in-depth exchanges, giving students firsthand insight into the frontlines of the company and a direct experience of the charm and potential of modern smart manufacturing.

Immersive Experience: From Offices to Production Lines, Unveiling the Secrets of Smart Manufacturing

The first stop of the event took students to the cutting-edge eco-friendly office areas of INTCO Medical and INTCO Recycling. The modern office buildings reflect INTCO’s commitment to sustainability, featuring green, low-carbon concepts, open-space design, intelligent control systems, energy-efficient lighting, and soundproof meeting pods. Guided by INTCO team members, the students gained an inside look at the company’s workplace, experiencing the efficient and orderly operations and the technology that powers smart office environments.
During the immersive visit to INTCO Medical’s nitrile glove production line, the students witnessed the entire process of a disposable glove — from raw material mixing, dipping and molding, hot air drying, quality inspection, to final packaging. The smooth production flow and well-organized procedures, supported by a fully integrated digital system, showcased INTCO Medical’s strong capabilities in large-scale and intelligent manufacturing of medical consumables.
Later, at the R&D center, students had the opportunity to make disposable gloves themselves. This hands-on session was not only a practical experience but also a deep insight into the precision and rigor of industrial manufacturing.

During the “INTCO Recycling Photo Frame Production Process” experience, students witnessed the fusion of art and industrial craftsmanship firsthand. They gained in-depth understanding of the full cycle — from recycled materials to finished products. This integration of environmental protection, artistic creativity, and industrial design sparked students’ imagination and interest in the possibilities of green manufacturing.
In the “Digital Automation” session, module leaders from the AIT Department explained the core logic behind industrial automation. Using real examples from INTCO’s production lines, they illustrated how data drives smart manufacturing to enhance production efficiency and product quality. The session gave students a clearer and more concrete understanding of what the “factory of the future” looks like.

Close-Up with Executives: Discussing Globalization and Talent Strategy

The “Close-Up with Executives” roundtable became a highlight of the event. INTCO’s executive team sat down with the students for an in-depth discussion on “The Globalization Path of Chinese Enterprises.” Executives shared how INTCO Medical and INTCO Recycling have expanded onto the global stage through technological innovation and strategic planning. They also introduced the “Elite Talent Program,” encouraging young talents to pursue careers in smart manufacturing and grow together with the company.
The “Elite Talent Program” is INTCO’s talent development initiative designed for graduates from top global universities. Centered on a global perspective, the program aims to cultivate future leaders in the medical technology field. With a career path characterized by rapid growth, high-level challenges, and strong rewards, participants will gain hands-on experience in technological innovation, smart manufacturing, and global market expansion, preparing them to become key players in the industry.

Cultural Exchange: From Industrial Experience to Zibo’s Vibrant Traditions

Beyond the rich industrial visits, this Open Day event also included an immersive experience of Zibo’s culinary culture. In the evening, INTCO invited the students to enjoy Zibo-style barbecue, savoring the local “pancake-wrapped meat” and experiencing the food philosophy of the Qilu region. From robotic arms to charcoal grills, from automated production lines to authentic Zibo barbecue, a dialogue bridging industry and culture quietly warmed up amid the lively atmosphere.

This Open Day was not only a deep connection between technology and industry but also INTCO’s practical effort to engage young talents with the manufacturing sector and smart manufacturing. Looking ahead, INTCO will continue to open diverse platforms, welcoming more aspiring youth to step into INTCO and frontline work, exploring together the future path of Chinese manufacturing.
