INTCO Foundation Promotes a Greener, Healthier School

Recently, Shanghai World Foreign Language Academy Affiliated Pujiang Foreign Language School hosted a seminar on the school-based development of the "Global Climate Classroom" initiative and the sharing of campus microclimate projects. Guests and participants gathered to exchange ideas on campus ecological development, environmental education, and school-enterprise collaboration, exploring practical ways to integrate sustainability into school life.

Established in December 2022, INTCO Foundation was jointly initiated by INTCO Medical and INTCO Recycling. Guided by its mission of "Love, Kindness, and Truth," the foundation is committed to supporting people in need and promoting the harmonious development of society and nature.

During the event, participants visited the school's Dream Museum, exploring several themed areas, including recycling and regeneration, the aromatic corridor, and the seed library. These exhibits showcased the school's efforts to promote environmental awareness and ecological education among students.

Among the highlights were a seed library donated by INTCO and display frames made from recycled plastic materials supplied by INTCO Recycling. Together, these initiatives serve as tangible examples of sustainable practices on campus. The school's environmental education corner illustrates the entire recycling process, from collecting and sorting used plastics to producing recycled plastic pellets and manufacturing finished display frames. Through this hands-on presentation, students can better understand the value of plastic recycling, resource conservation, and sustainable development.

At the subsequent roundtable discussion, participants explored the theme of "Tailored Support for Every School." Discussions with school principals and experts highlighted that meaningful campus philanthropy goes beyond providing materials and resources. It requires understanding each school's specific needs and transforming professional expertise into sustainable educational initiatives, allowing environmental awareness to become an integral part of everyday school life.

During the seminar, INTCO Medical received an Ecological Cooperation Partner Certificate in recognition of its previous collaboration with the school. This recognition marks an important milestone in their partnership and provides a foundation for further cooperation in advancing environmental education and sustainable campus development.

Promoting Environmental Awareness and Supporting Children's Health

On October 26, during the school's Sports and Health Festival, INTCO Foundation, as a campus partner, delivered an interactive health education session titled "Flu Prevention Little Guardians" for 150 students. By integrating public health education into school activities, the initiative aimed to help young students develop stronger awareness of disease prevention and personal health protection.

The session covered key topics such as how influenza spreads, everyday prevention measures, and personal hygiene practices. Incorporating INTCO Medical's protective products, including face masks and hand sanitizers, the program combined educational presentations, scenario-based interactions, and fun quizzes to make learning engaging and accessible.

Through these activities, students learned more about influenza viruses and developed practical skills, including proper mask-wearing and effective hand hygiene.

Growing Together for a Healthier and More Sustainable Future

From promoting plastic recycling and environmental education to encouraging healthy habits among young students, INTCO Foundation continues to turn its commitment to social responsibility into meaningful community action.
