On July 2, Anhui INTCO Medical Products Co., Ltd. successfully connected its self-initiated wind power project to the grid. With a total installed capacity of 11.2MW, this clean energy project is now officially operational, marking a significant step forward in INTCO Medical’s green and low-carbon transformation, as well as its efforts to build a model for sustainable manufacturing.

Project Overview: Location and Technical Specifications

Located within the INTCO Medical industrial site at the Suixi-Wuhu Industrial Park in Suixi County, Huaibei City, Anhui Province, the wind power project is fully funded and constructed by INTCO Medical. It consists of two wind turbines, each with a capacity of 5.6MW and a hub height of 140 meters. The project is designed to generate approximately 20,718 MWh of electricity annually. Upon completion, the turbines are expected to run at full load for about 1,849.8 hours per year, effectively meeting the plant’s electricity needs and enabling local conversion and utilization of green energy.

Driving Green Transformation in the Medical Manufacturing Industry

As the largest manufacturer of non-latex disposable gloves in China, INTCO Medical is committed to advancing intelligent and green upgrades in the manufacturing sector. The successful grid connection of this wind power project is not only a key milestone in INTCO Medical’s exploration of the renewable energy field, but also a concrete action in support of China’s “dual carbon” strategy and the pursuit of green, sustainable development.

Environmental Benefits and Carbon Reduction Impact

According to the project feasibility report, the wind power project is expected to save approximately 6,246.5 tons of standard coal annually and reduce emissions by about 17,154.5 tons of carbon dioxide, 2.1 tons of sulfur dioxide, and 3.1 tons of nitrogen oxides. These reductions significantly alleviate the environmental pressures caused by fossil fuel consumption and enhance the company’s overall performance in clean production and energy conservation.

Building a Replicable Model for Renewable Energy in Healthcare Manufacturing

The operation of the wind power project increases the green energy ratio in INTCO Medical’s overall energy use. It serves as a practical example of the company’s commitment to building a green manufacturing system and provides a replicable model for other medical manufacturing enterprises seeking to leverage renewable energy.
Looking ahead, INTCO Medical will continue to deepen its presence in the medical protection industry while actively expanding its clean energy initiatives and carbon footprint management. By integrating environmental responsibility with intelligent and efficient manufacturing, INTCO aims to develop a modern, eco-friendly medical production base. This project marks the starting point of INTCO’s ongoing exploration into the synergy between green energy and medical manufacturing, contributing to the industry’s sustainable development.
